Job Title: Paw Patrol
Department: Game Operations
Reporting: Field Producer
Status: Flat Rate Pay per Event

What we are looking for:
The Phoenix Coyotes are looking for fun, energetic, outgoing individuals to become a part of the 2014-2015 Paw Patrol Entertainment Team. If you think you have what it takes to pump up a crowd of Coyotes fans, make a fool of yourself during on-ice intermission games, and promote our VIP sponsors during time-outs then you are an audition away from the job of your dreams!

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Arrive early to every game
  • Set up and organize promotion props and prizes pre-game
  • Interact with fans on the plaza
  • Assist in the procedures of ceremony, presentation, and award coordination for games
  • Entertain fans with promotions during time out breaks as well as games on the ice during intermissions
  • Skate during TV Timeous to shovel and remove show from the playing surface
  • Participate in crowd pumps, t-shirt tosses, prize giveaways etc.
  • Work events outside of game nights in the community
  • Participate in at least 3 appearances or charity events each month during the season
  • Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed by the Field Producer

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge, Skill and Ability
  • Confidence in front of a camera
  • At least be 18 years of age
  • Ability to be creative, spontaneous, and think on your feet
  • Be physically fit and able to perform strenuous activities
  • Strong knowledge of sports
  • Willing to walk out and/or skate onto the ice during intermission games
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others
  • Posses a friendly demeanor and interact with fans in a positive way
  • Must be able to work all or most Coyotes home games at Jobing.com Arena
  • Must have flexible hours; including late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to react quickly

Education and Formal Training:

  • Dance and/or Ice Skating Experience is a plus
  • Must be a High School Graduate
